ESTONIA AMBASSADOR VISITS TSCHE

 

The Embassy of Estonia, New Delhi had discussions today with Chairman and Vice Chairmen, TSCHE regarding cooperation with Study in Estonia, and to explore possibilities of academic cooperation, research mobility between Telangana and Estonia in the field of Higher and Technical Education. In this connection, the Ambassador of Estonia in India Mr. Riho Kruvv and Spokesperson of Study Estonia to India, Ms. Payal Rajpal visited TSCHE to discuss the possibilities on Thursday, January’10, 2019 at 10.30 am. The Spl. Chief Secretary(Education) Sri. Ajay Mishra, IAS appreciated the Estonia Government effort to propagate technical education and also emphasised the need to undertake joint Research and Academic Co-operation. Speaking on the occasion Ambassador Mr. Riho Kruvv said that Estonia is Europe’s treasure-trove for studies abroad. Estonia’s vibrant and affordable environment together with well-developed technology sector make Estonia an attractive place to study and live. With high-quality higher education, internationally accepted degrees and various scholarships this is a safe target country for international degree. Ambassador Mr. Riho Khruvv said that over a 160 unique degree courses. Start-up Entrepreneurship, Cyber Security Engineering, E-Governance Technology are some examples. Competitive fee structure with great value for money. For example : Robotics and Computer Engineering Master’s degree is 4000 Euros in tuition fees per year. On an average 90 % of students from Telangana have received scholarships. Ms. Payal Rajpal, Spokesperson of Study in Estonia also presented the employment opportunities in Estonia for Indian Students. Work in Estonia. Working possibility during studies, upon graduation completion extension of 9 months to look for a job. Estonia would like to retain students as skilled professionals in various sectors. Estonia also offers various Scholarships for International students interested in Master’s, Bachelor’s courses, extending for Researchers as well. Prof. V Venkata Ramana and Prof. R Limbadri, Vice Chairman, TSCHE held discussions along with Prof. T Papi Reddy, Chairman, TSCHE to foster Academic Co-operation between Telangana and Estonia. Prof. Papi Reddy said that such collaborations are need of the hour for emerging State like Telangana. He further added that a delegation of TSCHE would visit Estonia shortly to explore further possibilities. Estonia embassy also is hosting a Admission Conclave in February next month to offer Admissions to students from Telangana.
