TSCHE team interacts with   Hon'ble  Minister of Education, Govt. of Singapore Mr. Ya Kung Ong during WORLD ACADEMIC SUMMIT 2018.

TSCHE  team led by Prof T Papi Reddy Chairman TSCHE interacted  with Hon'ble Minister of Education, Singapore  and discussed the  posibilities of academic exchanges with Singapore Universities.The team which included Vice Chairmen - Prof.Limbadri and Prof.Venkata Ramana and Prof O Narsimha Reddy, TSCHE, Member  appraised the Minister about the various initiatives being taken by Govt. of Telangana and Telangana State Council of  Higher Education to foster and nurture an ecosystem of Innovation, Inçubation and Entrepreneurship so that the youth of Telangana are provided an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial ideas and also build up startups and make them job creators than   job seekers.The Minister said that in  an era of globalisation there is a need for cooperation and collaboration between India and the state of Telangana.He also appreciated the emergence of Hyderabad as a Global IT Hub and also the steps being taken by the Dynamic Hon'ble Minister of IT & C Mr.K.T.Rama Rao garu which has put Telangana on the global map.He evinced keen interest to visit Hyderabad shortly  and also suggested that TSCHE work  out collborations with Singaporean Universities.                                                                                      
 
The team also met  Prof.Eng Chye Tan, President, National University of Singapore, Hsiao-Wuen Hon, Corporate Vice-president, Microsoft Asia-Pacific R&D Group, Microsoft Research Asia and several Vice Chancellors of Universities in addition to senior officials of Times Higher Education (THE).
                                         
The theme of the Year 2018 World Academic Summit is "The Transformative power of research- Advancing knowledge,driving economies, building nations"  and is  being held at Singapore  between 25-27' September at Singapore.
