The State government on Monday finalised a schedule for the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (Eamcet) 2020. Accordingly, the entrance test for the engineering stream will be held on September 9, 10, 11 and 14.
As the matter of conducting common entrance tests (CETs) is in the High Court, necessary permission will be obtained from the court. The schedule was finalised during a high-level meeting chaired by Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy with senior officials of the Education Department.
Similarly, the Engineering Common Entrance Test and Polytechnic Common Entrance Test will be conducted on August 31 and September 2, respectively. According to a senior official, the dates for holding AM stream of the Eamcet too would be finalised soon.
“The AM (Agriculture and Medicine) stream of the Eamcet will be held after the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Neet) on September 13. The service provider does not have test slots for conducting the exams,” the senior official said. (See PAGE 2)
