American Telugu Association ( ATA)

American Telugu Association established in 1990 is one of the premier community organization in North America serving the needs of Telugu community and the mainstream people in America.  The main purpose of the organisation is to assist and promote literary,cultural, educational,social, economic, health and community activities to the people of Telugu origin as well as to promote exchange programs for students, scientists and professionals of Telugu origin in USA,Canada,India and other countries.ATA has delivered many charity programs like Health camps and educational scholarship programs etc. and  has been conducting charity programs in various cities across the USA and the two Telugu speaking States .

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE)

Telangana State Council of Higher Education was constituted as State Council on August 5’ 2014..

Telangana State Council of Higher Education is a Statutory Body of Government of Telangana which is responsible for:

The general objective of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to stimulate and facilitate the development of collaborative and mutually beneficial programs which serve to enhance the intellectual life and cultural development in Telangana and to contribute to increased international cooperation in the field of Higher Education. American Telugu   Association and Telangana State Council of Higher Education have agreed that in support of their mutual interests in the field of education and research the MOU is   arrived at..

Press Release

The general objective of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to stimulate and facilitate the development of collaborative and mutually beneficial programs which serve to enhance the intellectual life and cultural development in Telangana and to contribute to increased international cooperation in the field of Higher Education.  American Telugu   Association and Telangana State Council of Higher Education have agreed that in support of their mutual interests in the field of education and research the MOU is arrived at.

The broad objectives of the MoU are:

• Preparation of consolidated programmes in the sphere of Higher Education in the State and to evolve perspective plans for development of Higher Education in the State.

• Promote cooperation and coordination of the Educational Institutions among themselves and explore the scope for inter-action with industry and other related establishments and to encourage and promote innovations in curricular development, restructuring of Courses and updating of syllabi in the University and the Colleges.

The two Institutions herewith agree to:

 

• Conduct Seminars, Conferences, Workshops etc to disseminate information about Higher Education opportunities in USA and  India

• Provide guidance regarding career opportunities and options for visiting students from India and USA

• Work with Universities and other educational institutions and foster cooperation between USA & India

• Cooperate in the exchange of information relating to their activities in teaching and research in fields of mutual interests

• Promote appropriate joint research projects with particular emphasis on internationally funded projects
