The Chairman, TSCHE Prof. T. Papi Reddy and Vice-Chairman’s, Prof. R. Limbadri & Prof. V. Venkata Ramana along with Dr. N. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, TSCHE called on the Governor of A.P & Telangana & Chancellor of Universities in Telangana today.
The Chairman greeted the Hon’ble Governor on the eve of the heralding of the New Year 2018.
He explained the various activities being undertaken by TSCHE towards enhancing Access, Equity, Employability and Encouraging innovation & entrepreneurship amongst students in Higher Education System of State of Telangana.
He also apprised the Chancellor the decision of TSCHE to conduct ONLINE for 7 Common Entrance Tests except PGCET (Physical Education).
The Chancellor suggested that the TSCHE must ensure proper monitoring of student attendance, faculty and inculcate a quality orientation so that the institution in Telangana can be compared on a national level initially and move towards the equal global standards.
Hon’ble Governor reiterated that the use of Technology and Digital initiatives must be emphasised along with providing the necessary bandwidth and other infrastructure to the colleges and Universities.
Further, he advised TSCHE to work on a plan to rationalise the infrastructural requirements and use the grants provided by the Government of Telangana efficiently and effectively.
The Hon’ble Governor also suggested that the students must be provided good laboratory facilities to test their ideas and convert their ideas into marketable solutions and innovations.
The Governor also stressed that the colleges and Universities in Telangana must ensure that the benefits of Digital Initiatives being undertaken by MHRD, Govt. of India must be fully used and implemented to reach the large number of students and learners in Telangana.
Later, the Governor was presented a book titled “CHANGING PARADIGMS IN MARKETING OF SERVICES WITH SPECIAL FOCUS ON TOURISM & HOSPITALITY” edited by Prof. V Venkataramana, Vice Chairman, TSCHE
He suggested that more research and training activities must be undertaken in the area of Tourism and to make Telangana the best destination in India and abroad and introduce courses in such emerging areas.
